More Info | + My Favorites
Situated south of Mexican Hat just a few miles from Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, Goulding's Museum is housed in the original trading post of the Goulding Family. It was its proprietor, Harry Goulding, who brought movie director John Ford to the area and ever since the famous red landscape has featured in an array of films, television shows and album covers. Today, the museum features film memorabilia, including a set from "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon," as well as a collection of Navajo artifacts. Open year round, limited winter hours, admission fees benefit local college students.
